6:30 pm – Members are to bring in their favorite quilt and tell us why

 Quilt Show:  The Helping Hands Quilt Guild is hosting a quilt show called “Gathering Piece by Piece” at the Wyoming United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 23rd from 9 am until 4 pm.
Workshop: Friday, September 22, 2023 – will be a full day prepaid work shop from 9 to 3 pm. Anna Maria Horner will be instructing the “Folk Flowers Quilt”. Pictured below. Cost is $45.
Quilt Show: Saturday, September 23, 2023 – 9 am to noon, Anna Maria Horner will conduct a prepaid hand stitching workshop, “Stitching Paths”. Cost is $30.
Quilt Show: Saturday, September 23, 2023 – 1 pm Anna Maria Horner will present, “Anna Maria’s Blueprint Quilting” a free lecture and trunk show for all quilt show attendees.
We are asking for your donations: Fat Quarter Blenders, Packaged Notions, Scrap Fabrics, Large Take-out Containers. Please turn them in to either Mary Dawn Ditty or Mary Kokoszka. If you would like to fill out a quilt challenge form please contact Mary Kokoszka at mkokopuff@comcast.net for a form. Winners will be selected by “Viewer’s Choice”. All decisions are final. First prie will be $50 dollars, second $30 dollars and third place $20 dollars. All prizes are in cash. The theme is “Gathering Piece by Piece” and what that theme means to you. The quilt may be any shape or size up to but no larger than 40” on any one side. Anyone may enter. Quilts must be completed, labeled and turned in with the form by Friday September 22nd. All quilts must be picked up in person September 23rd by 4 pm
